Refund policy
Refund & Final Sale Policy
Effective for orders placed September 1–30, 2026. Orders placed before September 1, 2026 are governed by the policy in force on the date of purchase. Regular pricing and our standard return policy resume October 1, 2026.
Final sale
Because of our warehouse move, all items purchased at the Warehouse Moving Sale price are sold as a final sale — no returns or exchanges. Defects in materials or workmanship remain covered by our 15-year limited warranty.
Custom-order APX systems are excluded from the sale. They are quoted individually and are governed by the terms stated on your quote.
What the final sale does not take away
- Your warranty. Every sale item carries the full 15-year limited warranty on materials and workmanship. We repair, replace parts, or replace the unit under that warranty exactly as we would at regular price.
- Damage in transit. If your shipment arrives damaged, that is not a return — it is a freight claim, and we handle it. See "Delivery, inspection and damage" below.
- Missing or wrong items. If we ship the wrong item or the shipment is short, we make it right at no cost to you.
- Non-delivery. If we cannot ship within the time we promised and you do not accept a revised date, you may cancel for a full refund.
- Your rights under law. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under California law or the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
Delivery, inspection and damage
- Curbside delivery. Shipments arrive by freight carrier and are delivered curbside. The carrier brings the shipment to the curb at your address. Moving it beyond the curb, and any assembly or installation, are your responsibility. Please arrange help before the delivery appointment — these are large, heavy crates.
- Someone must be present. The carrier contacts you to schedule an appointment window and an adult must be there to receive and sign for the shipment.
- Inspect before you sign. Walk around the crate with the driver. Photograph the crate and any damage before it leaves.
- Note damage on the delivery receipt. If anything is dented, crushed, torn, punctured or short, write it on the delivery receipt / bill of lading before you sign, and keep your copy. A clean signed receipt makes a carrier claim much harder to win, for you and for us.
- Tell us within 48 hours. message our contact page or call (213) 700-0820 within 48 hours of delivery with: your order number, photos of the damage, photos of the crate and packaging, and a photo of the annotated delivery receipt.
- We file the claim. We open the claim with the carrier and send replacement parts, or a replacement unit, at no cost to you. You do not deal with the carrier and you do not pay for the replacement.
- Concealed damage. If damage is only visible after unpacking, contact us within the same 48-hour window with photos. Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved — carriers routinely require it for inspection.
Warranty claims
